Breakfast the best

Hotel was fine...just a part of town that was under construction. Neighborhood wasn't the best. Service was fine and enjoyed the wonderful breakfast! Best part of trip was complimentary breakfast

Massive Disappointment

What a disappointment. Last Spring I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Denver and found it to be wonderful. Based on that experience, I booked my family at this hotel. Although they both belong to the same chain/brand, they are as different as different could be.

The room was very small and cramped. We had requested a crib for the baby. It was old and had a poor fitting matress. We also asked for a fridge and microwave. The room was so small that they had trouble fitting them in. In addition, there was supposed to be free internet connection; the hotel could not give us the correct passwords to make it work on a Mac.

The complementary breakfast was fine, but that is the extent of it. After one night I check us out and moved us to the Courtyard, which was a very wise move.

Pretty good, some issues

When I first arrived I was impressed - the lobby is nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There's complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby, and the location is great - right in Center City and a few blocks walk to Terminal Market. However, I had a very slow drain in my shower which is a pet peeve of mine. Also, they were demolishing a building across the street, which was my view. Overall, I think I paid too much for the room, but with a normal drain and a better view, I would stay again.

Great value, great location

I was surprised at the quality of accommodations given the cost of this hotel in the heart of the convention area. Only a couple blocks from good restuarants and a quick 5 minute drive to Penns Landing. Only two blocks from the interstate so access is easy. Free breakfast adds to the value of this hotel. The carpeting was quite dirty (very noticeable lint everywhere) in the hallways on the floors, though the rest of the hotel was well kept. the fitness center was acceptable, though small with one TV that was not functioning. Wireless internet in the rooms was convenient.

Very Good Hotel; Convenient Location; Good Service

Stayed four nights in a two room suite on the 10th floor, which we got at a very good rate from Travel agency as part of an airfare/hotel package. Room was very quiet, well maintained, clean and had one of the best king size beds we have ever experienced. Location next to the Convention Center, where both my wife and I had meetings, was very good, and also in easy walking distance to the historic district and other points of interest. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The free use of the business center on the lower level, including four computers available for guest use, was very nice. The only thing that we felt was only average at best was the free breakfast -- really nothing much different than any other hotel or motel that provides a "free" breakfast. We would definitely use this hotel again in the future if we had another trip to Philadelphia as we felt overall it was very good value for the money.
