YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE THIS!!!!!! When we booked on line we had requested a NON-SMOKING room for two nights. When we checked in to the hotel, we were told that they did not have a non-smoking room available for us. The only option was a smoking room. The RUDE front desk person stated that the on-line booking was only a request and NOT a guarantee!!!!!!! Then she continued on to state that there was not a room that we could have for both nights and that we will need to switch rooms. Now, our plans had been to be gone all day on Saturday. After requesting to speak to the manger on duty and explaining that I has asthma and allergies to smoke, she stated that there was nothing she could do. I aksed for an upgrade and she stated no. I asked if she could refund some money and she said she WOULD NOT do that for someone who booked online. So, I asked for ome coupons for food to help. She never offered ONE solution to the problem. IT WAS AWFUL!!!!! I THOUGHT I HAD CHECKED INTO "THE BATES MOTEL" IN THE MANNER IN WHICH WE WERE TAKEN OF!!!! I would think twice before checking into this hotel! They needed more staff because every time we stopped at the front desk...there was at least 20 minute wait!!!!!! Horrible!

Poor service

After a 4-5 hour drive, we got to the hotel right at check-in time. There was a long line, but they provided plenty of automated check-in kiosks. We used the automated kiosk and were told our room wasn't available, but they could text us when it was ready. 1 hour later, no word on our room. We watched several others get the same treatment, then go to complain and get a room. Once we go to the desk, they magically produce a room. No apologies for the wait, nothing. If you don't want people using the kiosk, don't make them available, We got a great deal on the hotel, but if I was paying what they normally wanted, I would have been angry. The room was mediocre, service was awful. Too many other options in Minneapolis/St. Paul to put up this. Won't be going back there any time soon.

BEWARE OF KURT AT CHECK IN -HE DOES NOT LIKE INTERNET RESERVATIONS. He never smiled, he only ask me tree times without looking up if I made my reservations over the internet and would not listen to me. online travel website did make an error in my reservations by putting my friends name ( hwo I had traveled before with) as the contact person for the room. KURT said the only way I could ckeck in was for my freind to check me in. After 3 HOURS I went to a differnt check in clerk and was in my room in 10 minutes.

The hotel room is large, comfortable and attractive. Very cozy bed. Great breakfast buffet! Bring your swimsuit for the indoor pool. Absolutely no complaints and I highly recommend!

"Very clean & luxurious lobby & rooms. Bed was extremely comfortable. Sink area large, bathroom smallish. Great views of the city from tower rooms. Pool was small, and there was no hot tub. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Parking is in ramp next door $12 for 24 hours."
