We arrived at 11:00 and put our baggage in storage till the room were ready. We requested ajoining rooms and were told that all they had were rooms across from each other. Since we weren't checking in yet, they asked us speak with the manager when we got back. When we returned at 2:00 another person at the front desk found us two ajoining rooms. They were perfect for my family of 4, This is a great location within walking distance of many resturants, shopping, trolly cars and other forms of mass transit. You could hear alot of steet noise but that should be epected since your right in the middle of everything. Would defintly stay ther again. The Holiday in provided me with good, clean comfortable accomodations

The hotel was convenient to Fisherman's Wharf and public transportation. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful.

Good Value as Long as You Don't park

Nice hotel with great location. I would have rated excellent if it wasn't for the fact that parking was * per night. It cost more to park for a week than it cost to rent the car. Would definitely stay again and found the hotel to be a good value. Very family friendly location.

Good hotel but not Awesome

The location is about two blocks from the Pier. Most local pier attractions are within easy walking distance. There are two buildings and the second building has no pool. To use the pool you would have to walk about a block and a half to the first building, so we didn't use the pool. Rooms were above average. There were two minor problems. The door handle to the bathroom fell off but was fixed by the time we got back. One of the electrical outlets was not attached to the wall and could be a problem. Concierge staff was friendly and helpful. Front desk was okay but not rude. Restaurant in house is a little high priced, there are many better choices at the pier.

MUCH MORE THAT EXPECTED

Couldn't be much closer to the wharf without being in the water. Two blocks or so to ghardells square, the cable cars, ferry to alcatraz, starting point for city tours and wine country tours, and great restaurants. Room was large, new, and quiet.
