Nice place to stay

The location is great just steps from Times Square. You would think it would be quite noisy being so close, but I never heard anything from the street below. The staff was very friendly and really went out of their way to make us feel at home. We called for a bottle of water one evening and they were at our door with it in about three minutes. The rooms are a bit small, but everything is small in NYC. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean. They provide L'Occitane and Aveda bath products...which are the best! The feather bed was fantastic. I would have to say it was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. I would definitely consider this hotel for my next stay in NYC.
Great hotel, great location!

I'd stay again in a heartbeat!
My husband and I stayed here this past weekend (3/14-3/16) along with my mother.
Rooms: Both were impeccably clean...had king beds... rooms were spacious enough (it is NYC). Lovely bathroom. Quiet! We were VERY pleased.
MINOR Complaint: Key cards weren't working but they did remedy this situation and the staff was EXTREMELY accommodating.
Complaint: My mother's room was #502. The A/C and fan were NOT working so the room would not cool down. She called to complain after the first night of 81 degree temperatures in the room. They came up to "fix" it but the coolest the room ever got was 71 and it still slowly creeped up. It was very uncomfortable. Our room (#510) was perfectly fine. So it was definitely an isolated problem - but a problem.
Location: FABULOUS! Located on W 46th St between 6th & 7th Ave. If you walk out of the hotel and go left to 7th Ave, you are in the heart of Times Square. If you walk out of the hotel and walk right, you're minutes from Rockefeller Ctr. Perfect. Subway is a short walk.
Parking: They have valet for $48/day but we parked ourselves in the garage which is practically next door for $33 a day+tax=$80 for 2 days + an extra hour.
Staff: Extremely friendly and accommodating. Not one complaint about staff.
Dining: Restaurant was closed. We took advantage of the free continental breakfast downstairs (level "LL") & it was lovely. We did not attend the evening wine reception or order room service. We went to Bond 45 (recommendation from the front desk). It's located on W 45th, I believe-VERY good Italian fare. Expensive, but everything in NY is, I suppose.

For the price, it was way above our expectations. It was clean, modern, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and courteous. This hotel was within walking minutes to Times Square. They offered complimentary wine too. Would definitely stay again!

Our family stayed at The Muse Dec 21st - 24th and we were exceptionally pleased with the hotel and the location. From check-in to check-out everything at The Muse was as a hotel should be. The whole staff was attentive and very friendly. It was so nice to see the check-in staff taking care of a guest's puppy while they were out. We had 2 rooms and both were clean and very nicely appointed. The bed is one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. My boys and I liked the L'Occitane citrus scented soap so much, my wife bought us some when we got home. We wull be back.
Not worth the price

The heat was broken in this room and many others for two of our three days. So we were cold most of the time. They gave us ONE extra blanket when we asked. There were two of us and two beds for a reason. Then on the day we were due to leave, the toilet was backed up and not usable. The wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom, the table was wobbly, they had an obvious cheap and shoddy mend to the porcelain bathtub and they only gave one bar of soap and shampoo/conditioner for two people to use for three days! They had no computer access for anyone who did not bring their own laptop. While the location was good, it was not worth the money. So, I would not stay there again, nor could I recommend anyone else to do so either. The staff were friendly and courteous, but they apparently don't commuicate well with their fellow workers. What you ask on one shift does not translate into action for the next. In fact, they act as though they never heard the requests before!
