Hotel Princess was a great deal

We were here for a week on a mission trip to Guatamala and this hotel was all-around very good. The food was good, the room was very comfortable (though a bit small for two full-size beds). All the staff was super friendly. Money could be exchanged at the front desk. There are restaurants and shopping in the area around the hotel. I'd definitely stay there again. The water is purified and can be consumed without worry by Americans.

Beautiful Room

Our room was extremely nice, the bedding superb. We stayed here because of the close proximity to the airport with an early flight. We had no occasion to check out the location other than it's proximity to the airport. The staff was terrific.

Better Posadas for $30 a night in area

My wife had to stay in town to complete some buisiness in zone 1 area and we chose this hotel because it had a medium price thinking it would be safer and better than a posada. The deluxe room with queen was only a double bed with minimal bed covering and two poleyster pillows. When she asked if breakfast was included the desk clerk answered "At the price your paying, I don't think so!" The breakfast offered was only the 'free buffet' apparently included for everyone else and was just a standard buffet breakfast for anyone. My wife had toast and coffee and was charged Q105.00 icluding tax and tip which they did not bother to tell her until she checked out. My wife said she was made to feel as though they did not want or appreciate travel agency customers. I do not know if there is another price for none travl agency customers and if the service, treatment and accomodations are better but I nor my wife will never stay here again. They even had the nerve to try and bill her again upon check out for the room and only after she reviiewed the final bill details and asked to speak to the manager did they remove the charge.

The attentiveness of the staff to detail is impressive. The restaurant is wonderful and the atmosphere is relaxed. The room was very clean and everything was provided that I might need.

I loved it
