Great Place to crash and save $ on eating out

The all suites hotel was great for being able to save $ on eating out. The room was comfortable and clean and the price was better than many rooms where you get only a bed and bath.
The location is okay unless you hit Austin between 4 and 6. Otherwise it's a little far from the downtown area, but the drive is easy unless you hit traffic. There was even a big UT game on Saturday, but getting around was still easy.
We will definitely stay again

We went to Austin to visit family, so we did not need many amenities. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Nicely appointed kitchen with a full-sized fridge. Not really downtown, but not so far away that it was a problem. Many restaurants are fairly close. Will definitely stay here again.
Extended Stay Hotel

This is an extended stay hotel. There is no daily housekeeping. You are responsible for towels and trash. My husband and I had several bites on our legs after our 3 day stay. I don't know if the room was responsible, but it felt like we were getting chewed up at night.

Clean rooms & friendly staff. Great value for the week. Fridge & AC a bit noisy as was the upstairs guest 'clomping' around.
Downtown

My wife and I stayed here for two nights during our visit to Austin. Our room was well maintained and quiet.You need a good map to locate this establishment. It maybe only ten miles from downtown but it's a 1 hour 15 minute drive downtown during the rush hours. If you plan on spending most of your time around 6th street, suggest to spend the extra money and stay downtown.
