We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The staff were very friendly, the room was very nice and it had a full kitchen and a nice size sitting room with a flat screen tv and also one in the bedroom which was a nice surprize. The buffet at breakfast was pretty good with scrambled eggs bacon, sausage. Fruit, muffins, bagels, toast differant kinds of cereal and the breakfast was included which was very nice. The bathroom was small but for clean the only thing I had an issue with was the towels as they were stiff and cheap. Its a very nice quiet area to stay in three blocks from the subway and two blocks from the south street sea port.
loved it

my friend and I stayed there the last weekend of April. 2009 just for 1 night. The room was wonderful and the staff was THE BEST. Very helpful and friendly, it was great staying in a boutique hotel which was very quiet and near all the things we wanted to see on the lower east side. Within walking distance of everything! The room's 2 queen beds was great, wonderful bathroom, flat screen TV-I have stayed at a million hotels in NY, all with very small, older rooms- this place was such a wonderful surprise! Nice leather couch and chair--very roomy. Coffee in the morning before the buffett was even open, as we walked across the Brooklyn Bridge before breakfast, and needed the coffee! I've told everyone to stay there-can't wait to go back--it's great!!
