THE ROOMS IN THE SOUTH TOWER ARE REALLY CLOSE TO THE NEW TOWER THEY ARE BUILDING NOW. THE CONSTRUCTION IS ON GOING,EVEN IN THE WEE HOURS OF THE NIGHT. i WAS THINKING THUNDER BUT WAS NOISE COMMING FROM THE CONSTRUCTION SITE RIGHT OUT SIDE OUR 10 STORY ROOM..

We have stayed at many hotels in Vegas over the years but we will only be coming back to the Golden Nugget. We prefer the downtown environment and the Deuce bus makes the trip to the strip easy. We upgraded to the North tower room and it was great. Nice comfortable beds, quiet, flat screen tv, hot shower, all the amentities were good. Casino was fun with all games represented. Great trip at a great price.

Golden Nugget was in the process of starting a new tower for expansion.We were on the 17th floor and the construction crew was working at ground level 24/7.The noise was so bad we didn't get a good sleep the entire stay.When I checked out I complained but the staff didn't care.If I had known there was construction at the Golden Nugget I would have made reservations at another hotel.This was my second and last trip to the Golden Nugget.

Would not ever stay here again. Booked 6 days, 5 nights. Tried to rent cabana overlooking pool, none available. Tried to rent car, none available. Had to go elsewhere. Went to Carson St. Cafe in hotel, running on limited menu. VERY Limited. Buffet had a good breakfast. Left cleaning women for our room a tip everyday and noticed they really didn't clean because the sink vanity was never wiped off. Went to check out and had a movie charge to our room that we never ordered. Would not recommend this hotel. |Hope the cleaning women are enjoying my perfume!

We had a great time at the Golden Nugget! The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice for the price and very clean and comfortable. The daily maid service was wonderful too. The resturants were all very good, Red was the best! Grottos chicken fettachini was AWESOME!!! The casino was fun even though I didnt win a thing but still nice and clean. The pool is the very best part! I loved that you could play black jack by the pool and watch the shark tank. My only complaint would be the drinks were very slow to come!!!! I would stay there again!!!
