Description: The Ramada/Days Inn is one of the most beautiful hotels. The majority of the hotels are beachfront, but the Ramada/Days Inn was one of the more gorgeous ones. All the rooms in the four-storey hotel have a beautiful ocean view and a balcony.
I stayed in the Ramada portion, but both hotels have access to each other’s facilities. There is an amazing outdoor waterfall pool with a small hot tub on the side. There is a second smaller outdoor pool oceanfront. The ocean beach is open to each beachfront property, and the hotel offers a flag service to declare whether it’s safe to swim.
A room with a kitchenette is available, set up with small bar with microwave. Unfortunately, the sink and mirror is behind the bar, and the bathroom is smaller, as it only contains the shower and toilet. I stayed in a room with two double beds where one wall was a full mirror (great for a room full of girls!). There are safe-deposit boxes at the front desk for valuables, but there are only 20.
For $1, you can have access to dial-up Internet in the Days Inn entrance, but it only lasts 4 minutes. There is Internet access for laptops in the rooms. Each room has full television cable service.
There is also a basement room for laundry machines and another arcade room. There are vending machines all over the hotel as well.
The front desk service staff is extremely friendly and sociable and there 24 hours a day. There is a continental breakfast from 7 to 9am that consist of two trays of Krispy Kreme donuts, various cereals, milk, apple/orange juice, coffee, tea, hot water, various breads, and access to a microwave and toaster.
There is plenty of outdoor parking, and the hotel is easily accessible to the disabled. It is located next door to Hooters, Harpoon Harry's, and the Latitudes club and across from souvenir stores, Taco Bell, an Exxon gas station, and the liquor store/karaoke bar.
