Would not stay there again!!!!

I have always stayed at the Sheraton hotels when I travel because they are Nice, Clean and not bad price. But the Sheraton Newark airport has disappointed me! I will never stay here again, First of all I picked this Hotel because it was close to where I was going that weekend, It was not hard to find, but it was in the middle of nowhere. There were no restaurants close to the Hotel, I had to pay $25.00 for Parking, and The Restaurant at the Hotel was really expensive it was ridicules, I have order breakfast for my kids the last day I stayed there, I thought Kids menu wasn?t that Bad, I order them Breakfast at about $6.00 each, and I knew they be charging 20% so, I?m thinking ok, better than Driving 10 min to get them something to eat. So I get my bill and it?s about $16.00 and the guy waited for a tip, so I tip him about $4.00 then to my surprise at check out time, a typical Breakfast that was suppose to be $12.00 + tax came out to be about $28.00 Not only they charge 20% more, plus Tip they Charge $8.00 for Room Service. And another thing was I have Brought small snack for my kids, in case they were hungry at night, and milk for my smallest one, Thank God I had a cooler because there was no fridge or microwave in this rooms. I even got the deluxe room but there was nothing deluxe in this place except the Lobby and the pool area. So, I could not heat their milk or cereal it was ridicules. So, I ended up spending around $***.** per night at this place when it was suppose to be only half of that!!!

The hotel and staff was awesome. But, unfortunately we were not aware that we had to pay for "parking" which was not in our budget per say. Next time, we will get all info before traveling. All in all, we had a nice time visiting with relatives and friends.

Nice Place to Stay

For an airport hotel, this was one of the nicer places I have stayed. Conveniently located and full of amenities (be sure to bring your suit for the lovely indoor pool and spa), it was a great value for the price. The staff was helpful, the coffee good, and the rooms large, well appointed and very comfy beds with lots of fluffy pillows.

A great place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sheraton. It was extremely clean, well managed and welcoming. I would recommend it to anyone who wishes to stay in New Jersey or who is looking for a reasonably priced four star hotel close to New York.

very impressed

After hours at the computer comparing reviews and prices and crime indexes, we finally, reluctantly, decided on this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was immaculate. The bed was comfortable. The service was great and the pool was the cherry on top. The only thing negetive I would have to say is that it is too far from NYC. We went there specifically to visit the city and were aggrevated more than once with the means of getting into the city. We were on a budget and the taxi ride straight to NYC was $80.00. We took a cab to Penn station in Newark for $25.00 and then rode the Path train to the city for $1.75 a piece. Once in the city we used the subway which was very confusing. Nothing was worse than when we tried to go out and come back at 2 am. The Path train switches, it left us in a station with no exit to the street for 1 hr. CREEPY. and finally we got to the hotel at 3:30 am. We left the city at 12:00 midnight. Other than the distance from NY I would definately recommend this hotel...especially if you have the money for cab fare the entire way.
