We stayed at the Loews Hotel, having received a special internet rate. The Loews Hotel has a nice lobby and bar area.
We liked the location. There were several nice restaurants and bars located a block away. The visitor center is about a five minute walk and the dock area is about a 10-15 minute walk. If you do not want to walk, there is a complimentary Loews shuttle available from the morning until approximately 8 or 9pm. The shuttle will pick you up or drop you off throughout Annapolis upon request. We used it twice, saving us long walks or cab fares.
Unlike most chains, Loews allows dogs to stay at the hotel. We saw several dogs, fortunately they were well behaved.
All in all, it was a nice stay.
