Comfortable and Convenient

The staff at this hotel is about the most friendly and helpful I've experienced, worldwide. Although the rooms are nothing special, they are eye pleasing and comfortable, and certainly had everything I needed - including a hair dryer.

We stayed at Loews because we were in the area for a wrestling tournament. We were even given a room on ahigher floor to ensure a restful stay before the tournament. We have stayed at another hoetl on the same street, but not given the same type of treatment.

We were in Annapolis for the Boat show (oct 5 & 6 2006) and took care to reserve our room (premium king deluxe non smoking) in July! Nevertheless at our late evening arrival (of which we previously had informed the desk by making a long distance call at our expense), we were put up in the 2nd floor smoking for handicapped room (not even equipped with a bathtub). No one of course pointed this out to us when we registered at the front desk.

Our family recently attended a conference at this hotel - it is clean and well kept, the staff is most helpful. The valet service is dedicated and prompt. The meeting rooms and banquet rooms were well appointed and staff was most helpful. A swimming pool would have made the experience most pleasant.

Loews Annapolis is very difficult to find. Numerous traffic circles and narrow streets complicate the process. The rooms are OK. They were clean and the linens were appropriate for the price, but the room didn't have a hair dryer, it wasn't "special" at all, and everything in the hotel was resort pricey. Room service was timely and polite, and the staff was accommodating. There seemed to be a lot of renovation going on in the hotel, generating lots of noise. My room had, it appeared, been renovated in the last several months, so it was surprising to find it very average.
