Below Country Inn Standards

I stay at Country Inn & Suites whenever possible, but this location is way below the company's standards. The beds were old and noisy, thank god this wasn't a honeymoon! The breakfast was just Ok and that area was clean. The biggest problem was security, this is right off the freeway and the exterior door had no lock at all on it ! Either broken off or never installed. When I asked about it at the desk, the fellow just said " Yea, we know" Our room was on ground floor and there were no sheer curtains or shade - so we either had the blackout curtains drawn or were open to the whole parking lot. Just an unpleasant stay. go an extra mile to any other motel.

When we checked into our room, we found that the sheets hadn't been changed. hair was all over the beds and in the tub. When we complained we were given another room. Guess what this bed had cracker crumbs all over the sheets. We were told that the head housekeeping was on vacation! If it wasn't so late we would have traveled on, as it was we slept on top of the blankets. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone!!!!!
