The hotel was old but well kept. Not fancy, but homey. Most of all, it was a very Hawaiian experience with the gardens, fish pond, the view of the bay, the fresh cut flowers, and the friendly staff.
A pleasant surprise.

I stayed at the hotel with my elderly father. We could not have been more pleased with the hotel appearance and service. A great place to stay while visiting Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
