Quote: breakfasts were included which was great. Even if we had to pay for the breakfast, the food would have be well worth the $. parking could have been difficult if the hotel were more crowded. pool was nice. location was alright. overall, great place... Read the full Hilo Seaside Hotel review

Amazing home feeling away from home

  • 5 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • April 12, 2011
Quote: The hotel is older, but well maintained. The staff was friendly. It sits back from the ocean, but had a fantastic room overlooking a Koi pond. It is close to the airport and was able to take walks along the beach. Very comfortable and look forward... Read the full Hilo Seaside Hotel review

9 day stay

Quote: I stayed at the hotel with my elderly father. We could not have been more pleased with the hotel appearance and service. A great place to stay while visiting Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

Quote: The room was very small, non-descript, and noisy. Since we only stayed one night, it was ok. I would not have wanted to spend the week's vacation there. The people working there were all very nice & the room was clean.

Reminds me of summer camp...

Quote: We only needed a place to lay our heads for one night. Like most places in Hawaii, there is an open air feel to the hotel. The whole place seemed more like a hostel than a hotel but it was nice. The proximity to Hilo Airport is a big plus if you... Read the full Hilo Seaside Hotel review

Ok for money. But don't expect much...

Quote: I choose the hotel exclusively because of the room price. Cheap for Big Islands standards, but of course don't expect resort rooms... On the contrary, the rooms were quite simple to say the least.

Not the Best but perfect if you're not going to spend too much time in your room.

Quote: I gotta admit that this is not the greatest place to stay and definitely not like those 5 Star hotels. But this is perfect for someone who is on the road all the time and just needs a place to rest and go. As a tourist on a tight budget, it was... Read the full Hilo Seaside Hotel review

Hawaiian Hide away

Quote: Seaside Hotel is not located with the other hotels, it is situated in the bay. When you check in you are at home, like staying with family. The posted pictures are just what you get, enough room and the feel of a garden paradise. The restaurant... Read the full Hilo Seaside Hotel review
