October 2007. We stayed at Disney Riverside Port Orleans Resort. We had two room 4 adults and 2 kids 2-1/2 and 4 years of age. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We stayed 5 days and the rooms were cleaned on a very timely basis. I cannot say enough good things about the resort..kid friendly, quiet, relaxing, pool was wonderful, laundry by the pool was great. Food at the lobby was great also. We will for sure go back and spend even more time. The staff was very friendly also.

My family and I stayed at the P.O. Riverside on a family trip to Orlando during Spring Break. We used the Disney Magical Express and arrived early in the AM after taking a red eye from AZ. Our room was not ready, but they held our luggage and carry on bags while we went to the Magic Kingdom. Everything was waiting in our room when we returned around 4pm. The room was clean and although not huge, had enough room for 4 people. We have a 10 and 12 year old, so we didn't spend a whole lot of time in the room. We were gone at parks from 8am to Midnight most days. The resort has a nice main pool and dinning area called Boatwrights that has good food at fair prices, for a tourist area anyway. The room was cleaned well every day and the resort grounds were always being cared for and in great condition. Boat to downtown Disney area is a nice ride and buses to the parks come frequently. No monorail, as this resort is located by the downtown Disney area. If you a just looking for nice place to sleep while you spend most all of your time in the parks, like we did, then this is a great place for you. If you want to be closer to the MK and Epcot, have Monorail service and have a more full service hotel. Then you will want to stay at one of Disney's higher end resorts. We would stay here again, no doubt. Great "Disney bargin", more ammenities than the low cost "All-Star" resorts and not as hard on the wallet as the higher end resorts.

This resort has good dining in a central location, a nice pool with a small water slide and a poolside bar. Also features rental boats, bikes and horse carraige rides (fee). The rooms in Magnolia Bend feature a much better view and design versus those in Alligator Bayou. While staying at Riverside, guests can use the pool/waterside at French Quarter, which is even more kid-friendly. Overall, the atmosphere, theme, and setup of the resort are wonderful and truly make the stay that much more enjoyable. The best part is on hot days, to leave a theme park around lunch and come back to the resort for a swim and a cocktail from the poolside bar!

We had to complain for 3 days and several managers before housekeeping cleaned snot off of the wall between the beds. Candy wrappers found under bed at check-in. Mold on the shower curtain. Not at all what we expected to find at a Moderately priced resort within Disney.

We stayed in Alligator Bayou and loved it. We had a room with 2 double beds and a small trundle bed and was a great arrangment for us and our 3 small children (2,3,5 years). Room was very clean, ground are lovely, safe, great pool. When we go to Disney again we will stay inteh same place - loved it!!!
