Nice Comfortable Stay

We stayed here because we spent the day at Seaworld, but had trouble finding an affordable room with good traveler reviews in Mission Bay. This hotel is only 30 minutes north of Seaworld, barring any traffic delays.
We booked a two double bed suite. It had a room with two beds and another room with a sofa that turned into a sleeper. We have seven members in our family and there was room for everyone. Though I had forgotten how small a double bed is. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean as well and the shower had good water pressure. I appreciated several power strips placed around the rooms. It is frustrating to have to hunt for an outlet for my laptop, cell phones, and CPAP machine.
The breakfast is standard with most Holiday Inn Expresses. My only complaint is that it did not have the gooey cinnamon rolls I am accustomed too. I told all the kids how good they are, but they had danishes with raisins instead. Hate raisins. The dinning area was small for the size of the motel. Get there early if you want a table to eat.
The pool area looked nice though we did not have time to enjoy it. The staff was friendly and courteous. We had a knock on the door dropping off some additional blankets that were requested only five minutes prior.
Its nicely located near a Target and multiple restaurants. We got Thai food near the hotel that was very good.
Overall a very nice stay.

Nice room, great facility, friendly staff and lots of perk. IE breakfast, fitness center and more.Excellant location for the Wild animal park. Shopping and restaurants nearby or on site. Lots of choices for dining.

Good value for the money. Location was perfect. Check-in, check-out simple.
Would stay again if traveling to Escondido.

Went to Escondido for jus 1 night ti see Wild Animal Park and some friends. Had one of the best nights sleep I have ever had. Close to dining and quiet even though you could see the freeway from our room. Staff so helpful and friendly. Will stay here when we visit our friends.

We stayed here for just a single night, which was a shame.Although just off freeway 5, there was no road noise, the hotel was great, clean, comfortable.There are many places to eat just across the road, and it is ideal for heading into san diego or to the beach while avoiding the high prices both those attract.Good, friendly staff.well worth considering.
