Wonderful Hotel

We traveled on pleasure with our son and had a wonderful experience at the Embassy Suites. Hotel was clean, staff was helpful and friendly. The manager' reception in the lobby and the breakfast buffet were beyond expectation. We would definitely book again.

Getting shabby but still good value

Just returned from a holiday stay at this hotel and found it looking a little shabby. Furnishings need replacing (sofa was threadbare on the arms and mattresses are getting soft.) Pool is very chlorinated and caused my grand kids to break out in a rash after swimming. On the positive side the breakfasts are still good and we enjoyed the variety of free cocktails available in the evening. Location is great and the walk to the Metro station is an easy one. With its faults it is still a good deal.

The hotel was great, check-in very smooth, room clean and ready when we arrived. Loved the complimentary cocktail hour and breakfast, nice perks,

Embassy Suites near Dupont Circle

The Hotel was extremely friendly with all the interaction I had with various employees. First off the front desk went out of the way to look up any local football teams playing in the area the weekend I was there, thinking I might want to do something besides see another museum. Also each morning and evening the complimentary breakfast and managers cocktail reception the hostess was very personable. Even though I don't drink alcoholic beverages they allowed me to take a couple of non-alcoholic beers each evening back to my room to relax. My 84 year old father and I spent 8 days in DC just doing the tourist sight seeing , being his first ever visit to DC. The location was great for everything we wanted to see, bought a weeks metro unlimited pass. You are close to Dupont circle and Foggy Bottom stations. With the value of the suite size and the free full breakfast and evening snack and drinks, I found this to be one of the best bargains as I searched many hotels on the internes before making my reservations. I would definetly return here.

This hotel was fantastic. The location was ideal. We traveled to DC with our 4 children for the weekend (on a dime) and the room was spacious and clean. The complimentary breakfast was incredible as was the staff.. we were greeted every morning with a smile. I would return to this hotel on my next trip to DC and HIGHLY recommend it.
