Good Facility Terrible staff

The facility, rooms and pool) were great. Ive had better service in dive hotels in Panama. The food and beverage staff were nothing short of pathetic. The 'H20 restaurant' was, slow 40min-1 hour before being contacted by waiters or bartenders--everytime. They try high pressure sales of their timeshare early on during the stay, because after dealing with the service, no sales would ever be made and there is nothing but a Walgreens drugstore within walking distance of the resort. Only recommend if you don't like to eat when you are hungry.

This is a beautiful resort near most of the Orlando destinations. Beautifully kept grounds and accommodations. I would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

Best Things Nearby:
SeaWorld, Universal Studios, Downtown Disney, all Disney theme parks, outlet mall, and restaurants galore

Best Things About the Resort:
Conveniently located, friendly staff, security, amenities, and floor plans

Resort Experience:

This resort was the first one I had ever visited. When I arrived, I was directed to the building for check-in. The staff was very pleasant. I gave them my name and everything was ready for me. I don't believe my check-in took more than 5 minutes. I was then sent to the concierge, who excitedly gave me the rundown on places to go and things to see and also offered discounted tickets to the local theme parks.

The rooms were very nice and spacious, the pool was lovely, and the grounds were well kept. I stayed in a two-bedroom, two-bath. It was like I was still at home. Everything I could have possibly needed was in the room at the resort: washer, dishes, pots, towels... I mean everything. The master bedroom had a Jacuzzi tub (which was my favorite amenity). The resort is located just minutes away from all of the theme parks. My family and I went to Downtown Disney (shopping), SeaWorld, and Magic Kingdom. My children and I enjoyed SeaWorld, but since I have young children, 3 years and 5 years, they really enjoyed Magic Kingdom. I really liked Magic Kingdom as well, because most of the rides there are designed with the entire family in mind, so I didn’t have to sit out rides because my children were too small. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay at The Fountains and in Orlando. I would highly recommend this resort.

When you first arrive you must go through security at the front gate. Then you drive up a palm tree drive to the check in. The resort has a childrens check in.

Our unit had a basic condo floor plan but was really nicely decorated. It felt comfortable. The best thing was that all units had a screend in patio. So, you can eat outside and not have to worry about the mosquitos or flies. The pool was 6,000 square feet and was located outside and inside. There was a baby pool and a great deck overlooking the lake by the resort. They have lots of great activities for children (arts and crafts, Movie Mania Night, coloring club, bubble fun, teen night, scavenger hunt) and adults (bonfire, bingo, wine tasting, Aqua Fit, Dive in Movie, Water Volleyball, Ice Cream Social, etc.). I highly recommend it for families. The resort was full, but it seemed so peaceful. A great vacation spot. We didn't even go to any of the theme parks and had a great time. The location was PERFECT, near all parks and lots of shopping and restaurants.

The room was great. It was decorated in very modern furnishings. It had everything you would need to fix dinner there or go out to eat. The two full bathrooms were a great touch for two females. The porch was screened in, which allowed you to sit outside and not be bothered by the bugs.
