Two of the negative points were that the pool was outdoors, and the rooms are somewhat dreary. It was fine for myself, but the kids were disappointed that the pool wasn't open due to the time of year (November). On a good note - the complimentry breakfast was great.

My husband and our family frequently visit friends from the Naval Academy who have settled in the Annapolis area. The Hampton Inn hotel is the best place to stay--the cleanest, friendliest, and nicest staff, and the most relaxing and comfortable place I have ever stayed. We even had 100 family members stay there when we got married in Annapolis in 2003--and more than a dozen wrote letters to the manager about what a fantastic value the hotel is. It rivals the best hotels and you can't beat the price--or the delicious breakfast bar!

This hotel is wonderful. Have stayed many times when visiting my son at the Academy. Great Suites that offer creature comforts of home with kitchen and seperate living room. Super clean and WONDERFUL STAFF.
