We had a clean room, friendly service, a good continental breakfast, the only downer was that the heater didn't work that well , but other than that no complaints.

Dont even think about staying here---not a safe location

This was one of the worst places that we ( two women ) could of pulled into at 10pm in the evening. 1. NOT a nice neighborhood. 2. The front desk person was outside around the building with a group of people 'hanging out'. 3. People were haning in the parking lot, on the balcony's staggering through the parking lot. 4. The police came in to respond to a 'disturbance call' . We could not of gotten into our room even if we had tried due to all the commotion. Not one police car, but two. 5. We felt our direct safety was at risk. 6. We didnt feel as if we could take our clothes off to sleep out of fear. 7. We didnt feel as if we would be able to leave any personal belongings in the room when we were not in the room. We never even made it into our room. We turned out of the parking lot and called Travel agency tried to help us get relocated. While travel agency tried to help up, the HOTEL MANAGER of this particular HO JO did NOTcare that we felt it was unsafe. They would not let us go to another HO JO or refund our money. We ended out staying at another hotel at an additional expense.

"Friendly, helpful staff"

The redeeming quality of this hotel is the friendly helpful staff. The rooms were small and cramped, and had a generally rundown appearance. The exterior coudl greatly benefit from a power washer and a coat of paint.

This Motel is in a bad part of town. Local relatives were shocked that anybody would recommend it. They made us stay with them the 2nd night. They thought it was not safe. The Clientele were not the the best. There were Junk packed pickups in the lot and beat up travelvans,Gypsy like. The manager was great we had a drain pluged up and she had it fixed right away, However he bid not open the line enough and the shower did not drain. The place was a bit junky,Weather striping on the door was not tight wind and snow blew in under the door.

This is a budget hotel. The neighborhood could have been better, but I did not feel unsafe. The beds were more comfortable than expected but was not impressed with overall appearance. They do have high speed internet. The cords are available at the front desk for a $5 refundable depsoit. Stay here only if you are not spending a lot of time in the room. But why would you, with all the beautiful scenery.
