Amazing Hotel Close to the Beach

I came to the Renaissance-Fort Lauderdale Plantation hotel for my sister’s wedding. This hotel is really breathtaking; it reminds me of the West Indies. The room was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. Even with all of the work for the wedding, the great staff and tropical environment made my stay seem like relaxing vacation.
The ballroom where my sister’s reception took place was fit for a queen. They had massive dangling chandeliers and room was decorated like a palace.
The wedding was on the beach only a few minutes away. It was absolutely wonderful.
Beautiful Hotel and Great Location

This hotel is really beautiful and certainly lives up to what their website says about South Florida Flair. While it does seem to be in more of a business part of town we stayed here for a vacation and found it to be ideal. It was less than a 20 minute drive from everything we wanted to do which allowed us to stay in one hotel rather than hopping all over South Florida. The rooms were typical Renaissance, clean, comfortable, and with great amenities.
We did not deal excessively with the staff but always found them to be friendly and efficient. We enjoyed breakfast each morning in the restaurant and the last night there whent to Happy Hour, which was a lot of fun. The hotel had everything we needed and it was a great vacation, I would definitly recommend staying here.

I just stayed at the Renaissance Plantation with my family, and was very pleased. The hotel seems brand new with a beautiful lobby and comfortable rooms. The staff was wonderful, and provided us with wonderful service whenever we needed anything. My husband played a round at the Jacaranda Golf Club, recommended by the front desk and said it was great. We also enjoyed dinner one night in Bin 595 which is attached to the lobby. The service here was also outstanding and the meal was great.
