The coolest thing about the Crowne Plaza is the ambience and mood of the old train station feel to the hotel. Pretty interesting. Nice and quiet and within great walking distance to anything/everything you need. We stayed just one night for business but I would stay here again for sure. Rooms aren't anything spectacular but nonetheless, it's a Crowne Plaza...

This is rated among the top 2 of my all time favorite hotel stays in the U.S. We are so impressed by the Fantastic Hotel Employees. Elegant rooms with the "sleep late" oh so great beds.Don't hesitate to stay here. We plan to come back again.

Can't say enough good things about the place. The Driver/Concierge Guys were the absolute best!! They made sure I got to the concert on time and made double sure I got back safely. The Front Desk Folks were super nice too. Loved my Train Car room! Everything went smoothly from check in to check out. When I go back to Indy I will definitely stay at this Crowne Plaza!!
Uninterested Staff

The staff here seemed very disconnected from the patrons. They were in general they no more than adequately met guest needs (I saw them in action with other guests). It looked to me like a lack of training in hotel guest relations. They need a great deal of work here.

My kids and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the C.P. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The valet gave us directions for locales inside, as well as outside, of the city. Gloria, in the Pullman Restaurant, was top-notch and treated my children like royalty. The C.P. is right in the midst of all downtown but removed (by only 1 block) from the major, heavily travelled streets. My son could not get enough of the traincars inside the building. "Downside"~there are no robes, safes and minibars in every room as stated in the ad. I would definitely stay here again!
