La Fenice

  • January 29, 2001
  • Rated 4 of 5 by Gilda from Bethesda, Maryland
One of the great things about La Fenice is that it has its own private beach. The pool is also nice, with ocean-fed water and a man-made waterfall cascading down. Everything has a Mediterranean feel, white-washed walls, bougainvillea, tile, etc. While the rooms are not luxurious, they are nice (with bathrooms) and they are very clean. The hosts, Costantino and Angela, are very friendly and serve breakfast in the patio of their home above La Fenice. I heard that a German Chancellor stayed here because the property is so well contained and made his security detail easy to handle.
