We were in a two-bedroom unit. The accommodations were not well maintained and dirty. The newer units were nice, but the older units were very worn.

Best Things Nearby:
The beach! The on-site beach was a nice walking, swimming, and sunning beach. The perfect place to spend the day. The roadside conch stand that visible from the beach and just a short walk away. His fresh conch salad is an awesome late lunch. A huge conch salad is about eight bucks.

Best Things About the Resort:
The pool was great, there is a waterfall and plenty of area to swim and play. The beach was beautiful and the beach attendants would check out the towels and chairs, then carry them wherever you want to sit. Once a day horseback riders would bring the horse for a swim at the end of the beach.

Resort Experience:
This timeshare has many buildings, arranged in a horse shoe pattern surrouding the pool and looking at the beach. The units are nice sized and our family of five fit well. The two-bedroom unit had two balconies. one with the pool view, the other had the ocean. It was wonderful. We cooked in and had everything we needed. The towels were changed all the time and mid-week maid service was great. This was one of our favorite Grand Bahamas resorts. It is a luxury style Bahamas resort.

Beach!

Best Things About the Resort:
Kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms!

Resort Experience:
Climbing to the third-floor unit was worth the view! We originally thought one of the two bedrooms would have two twin beds, but only had a queen. But the sofa was a pullout. The resort itself is a great family place for all ages, our teenage and college son made lots of new friends. They played volleyball, swam in the pool, played in the ocean and truly enjoyed themselves. As for my husband and myself, it was extremely relaxing.

Relaxing--I didn't want to ever leave the resort. We could see the beach from our room or even take a short walk to get there. The room was very nice.

Best Things Nearby:
There really isn't anything nearby but the resort has a shuttle to the International Bazaar and you can take public transportation from there.

Best Things About the Resort:
Beautiful, clean, ocean front is nice, nice restaurant, pool is nice but too shallow, rooms are roomy, and there's a dishwasher. Laundry is provided and FREE!

Resort Experience:
It's a really pretty resort and the ocean is beautiful. It's really clean and the rooms are roomy with a lot of storage space. The dishwasher is a nice touch and they even provide free laundry facilities. The activities leave something to be desired and the pool is too shallow to actually enjoy it, but the swim-up pool bar is fun. We had a power outage while we were there that lasted 9 hours and that seems to be rather common since they have candles and matches readily available and mention it in the documents they give you. Air conditioning is a little lax since they only have window units in each room rather than central air.

Overall, it was a really good experience. Service from housekeeping was excellent but the front desk, member services, and restaurant was pretty slow.
