Bad College Flashback

This room was something out of a bad frat boy movie. Can you say scary! The carpet was filthy and the non smoking room reeked of smoke. I did not even want to think about what all the nasty stains on the carpeting were and the furniture in the room was barely functional. The main floor, off the parking lot room had a curtain that only partially covered the floor to ceiling windows so you had to be careful where you walked in the room or folks outside the room would be able to see you in your pajamas. The web site talks about free internet but this is only in the lobby and the lobby is basically a vestibule so you would need to stand in the lobby holding your laptop (and would need to step out of the way of anyone who walks in the door), plus the lobby was not even open when we left the hotel on Sunday AM around 8:30AM or so. Page in general is pretty basic when it comes to hotels but in my opinion this hotel was just gross. I will say that at least the one night that we stayed the hotel was pretty quiet but that is about the only thing nice I can come up with to say about it. Avoid this one unless you are really low maintenance and looking for something less than basic.

Horrible Hotel

First thing we noticed was that they did not keep up with the maintenance. Tthe room was not finished being painted, the ceiling had a red substance that resembled blood spattered across it, the bedding was old and faded, and the towels were torn and tattered. These were only a few of the obvious problems.

Sometimes all you really need is a basic, clean room at a regular price that doesn't break the bank as it seems that the new chains are charging now a days! The room was clean, the location in the center of town, the service as expected, and the price just right. What else would you want?
Mistake

We often stay at economy priced hotels but this one was a mistake. The room wasn't clean, the night stand was sticky, the airconditioner was broken so we had to stuff paper in the vents to keep them open. This isn't a good value choice and we will never stay with this chain again.
