My husband and I made the trip to Myrtle Beach to see a show at The Alabama Theater. We chose Beachside due to the fact it was just for an overnight stay. I must say we were impressed. We go to Myrtle Beach 3 to 4 times a year and never have we dealt with a staff as friendly as the one at Beachside. Our room was more than adequate for our needs...in fact, had we planned to stay longer, we could not have asked for anything that we did not have in this room. It was clean, and I mean clean to my standards which are high in the cleanliness department!. When I go into a room the first thing I check is the bathroom, mainly the tub, and then I pull back the bedspread and check the sheets. The sheets were not only clean, they were new, which I think is a first for us at Myrtle Beach, and even though the tub showed some age, it was clean. No this is not a 5, nor even a 4 star hotel, but that is reflected in the rate. I applaud the management and the staff for a job well done!

II ran a bus trip to myrtle Beach, we arrived at the Beach Side Motel on Sunday evening and one of the staff members came out to meet our bus, they had reserved a parking place for the bus. I had paid for the rooms in advance so all I had to do was collect the envelopes from the office which contained the keys, booklets with lots of information on the Motel and names, addresses and phone numbers of Restaurants and stores in the area, and other points of interest. The rooms were clean and spacious, we had all the comforts of home,clean refrigerators, and microwaves, some of our rooms had fully equipped kitchens. I spent most of my time sitting out on my private Balcony overlooking the beautiful ocean, and watching the people playing on the beach, it was very relaxing and enjoyable. We checked out on Wednesday, and I thanked the staff for their splendid hospitality and promised to return again next year.
