Christmas Eve Stay

We reserved 3 rooms for a Christmas Eve tay and found the Plaza to be an outstanding stay for the price. The staff at checkin and checkout were very profesiaonl and friendly. The rooms were clean and the lobby area decorated nicely for Christmas. I would definately stay again!!
The hotel staff was beyond kind and helpful.

Our purpose for staying at the Plaza was to visit the Eau Claire Campus the following morning. Actually, we chose the Plaza because it looked like a nice place from the outside. We went up "cold-turkey" - knowing we wouldn't have a problem finding a room on a Sunday night.
The entrance was clean and welcoming. The staff was honest and got us a great room rate. They were very friendly and very helpful. We got to our room and it was neat and clean (which I'm a fanatic about - it drives my family crazy)!
The pool was nice a WARM - which is a slice of heaven when the temp. outside can't reach the double digits!!! My 12-year son was happy with the game room/dart board area. I don't think we could have found a better place to stay for the money!
We were just completely satisfied with everything the Plaza had to offer.
I can't think of anything I didn't like - this is pretty unusual for me!

We drove in from Connecticut...a 20 hour frive and were so very please when we walked in to the beautiful room! King size bed and whirpool were wonderful! The bed was extremely comfortable and I actually didn't want to leave. The airconditioner worked so well that it was actually cold in the room so we had to turn it off! Room was clean, as well as the bathroom and whirpool. There was enough space for two people to have all there stuff walk around and get ready in the morning without haveing to fight for a mirros since there was many in the room. There was even a magnifying mirror with light to apply makeup!!! My boyfriend found the iron and table useful since we were there for a wedding. Great staff. Only thing is that the continental breakfast is only until 9:30 am and when on vacation it's hard to be up by then! But the breakfast buffet for only $* was good! 24 hour pizza avaiable through the hotel and you have a mini fridge and microwave in your room! Great when you're traveling with kids or hungry boyfriends! What can I say...I really loved this place and when I'm back in Wisconsin I definitly will stay here! And also for the best pricing, book oinline!

This hotel is great if you want a large pool area. Rooms need upgrading and beds are very hard. No compliments to the continental breakfast.
