Huge dissapointment

I have enjoyed booking my travel needs through online travel website for many years. I have been able to stay at great hotels for a surprising price. I cannot say the same in this instance. The price of $* per night (incluing fees and taxes) is extremely high for a place that offers very little comfort. The quality of the facilities leave a lot to be desired. I am shock to see that online travel website included this hotel in their list of recommended facilities.
Great vacation!!

Great place to stay! Our room was always clean, staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was awesome and we were close to everything we wanted to do. We didn't realize how spoiled we were staying here till we stayed in a different hotel on our way home. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!!

The Comfort Inn in Surfside Beach is a nice place to stay once you find it. The directions from the map at the hotel website fail to tell you the hotel is located on Route #17 - Business. As one enters the Myrtle Beach area on Hwy 501, the first Route #17 crossed is #17 - Bypass. The wrong route #17. Yes, there are two routes #17.

I wouldn't stay here again.... my kids were looking forward to the swimming pool but were disappointed to find out it was only 5ft deep and about 30ft long. It looked much larger in the picture on the web site. Plus we found a condom in the pool filter while we were swimming!! Ughh!
