This moderately priced motel is huge, with 5 buildings making up the motel. Each room is well furnished, with huge armoire for the television, king-sized beds as well as bathrooms, and excellent recliners for watching television.
The only problem I had with my stay were the meager breakfast (worth missing) and the broken ice machine (which took around 15 minutes to fill a bucket). The staff were far from friendly, too, but the stay was alright if you stayed in the room and ignored them. The area was not as safe-feeling as the Rodeway Inn a couple blocks down the road, due to the Econo Lodge's Interstate access and proximity to the poor areas of downtown.

I arrived late at night and the room wasn't clean--not vacuumed, not enough towels. It was cleaned the next day. The breakfast was ok, the pool was the best feature, although it was not secure to the public. I would choose a different hotel next time.
