I don't know about everyone else who reviewed this hotel, but I was travelling on my own dime. I did not appreciate being nickeled and dimed (actually tenned and twentied) for everything. Over 30 a night to park the car and there aren't really any other options nearby. Also we were charged 6.00 a day for the internet. Who charges for the internet anymore? The worst part was they took 300.00 out of my bank account for "sundries" because I had prepaid via travel online. Now I have to wait 7-10 business days for this faceless corporation to give me my money back (minus about 100.00 for parking). When I complained that all these extra fees aren't on the website, the woman behind the desk shrugged and said "thank you for your feedback". Big deal. Also, very loud in the morning. Lots of doors slamming that went on for hours. In this economy, it's really unfair and bad business to treat customers like this.

The reason I use online travel website is because of hotels like this one, this hotel is tops in class and would return again.

Excellent accommodations. Service courteous and efficient. Beds were outstanding - most comfortble.
Sofitel Philadelphia

My wife and I visited Philadelphia for several days in September 2008 and it was made more memorable by our wonderful experience at Sofitel. Friendly yet professional service all around... Our suite was impeccable, with one of the most comfortable beds I've been in. Nice touches throughout the suite including large hdtv's with hdtv service, a nice desk for working, and a large bathroom with very nice shower. The bar was very welcoming and the drinks were well-made. I will always be happy to return to Sofitel when traveling in Philly.

Incredible hotel, incredible service and a great neighborhood if you like a central location with great shopping and restaurant. Without a doubt, we'd go back!!!
