This was our 2nd stay at the Mansfield Hotel. The rooms are cozy, with nice amenities and comfortable beds. The study/coffee room is great for visiting and the M Bar is great for the free continental breakfast, plus after-dinner drinks and visiting. All types of coffee are available (free) around the clock and that was a plus for us. Location is very good. Most of the staff was very helpful. This time we stayed in a larger room in the back of the hotel, away from the street noise, and it was much nicer.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who's interested in being near the theater district, Times Square & Grand Central Station. Just 14 blocks from Central Park & only 10 blocks from the Empire State Building...it's perfectly situated. The staff is extremely courteous, and the Concierge (Robert) was a life-saver! Every question was answered "above and beyond"...and these folks really know how to make you feel special!! The renovation is amazing...the Club Row Suite was decorated to be so comfy and inviting...we didn't want to leave. The only negative...and it was a minor one...was the size of the bathroom. However, given the age of this building...and the work they did to revive it...they did a fantastic job with what they had to work with. No complaints!! PICK THIS HOTEL !! We certainly will do so again !!

Excellent location. Quaint boutique hotel. Accommdating staff who worked to move us from Room 501 (a corner room) to a notably larger room 1010. (Both were classified Queen Chambre). Attentive staff, helpful, pleasant. Wonderful freebies: bottled water, coffee and continental breakfast. No complaints. Would definitely stay again in the future!

We came for our one year anniversary and couldn't have been more pleased with the Mansfield. The rooms ARE teeny tiny, but if you work with the staff they will get you into one of the larger rooms. We ended up with a corner room that was the same size as any other one bed hotel in NYC. The staff at this hotel couldn't be more friendly. We switched rooms twice (initially for a higher floor, and then for a larger room) and they had no problem accomodating us. The free breakfast is much better than I expected: cereal, bagels, breads, yogurt, juice... Much more than your regular continental breakfast!! Then at night the bar is a great place to hang out before dinner or before heading to your room. The best part of this hotel is the location! Walking distance to Times Square, Madison Sq Garden, Macys, Saks, shopping on 5th, the NY Library, Bryant Park, and much more. We couldn't have been happier and we saved a ton of money on cab rides! We went everywhere from Harlem to Soho and the most expensive cab was about $12 with tip. We will definitely stay here again!

My daughter and I wanted a quick getaway 'girls trip' to New York for the weekend. We had never done anything like this before, so I wanted it to be something she would long remember. The hotel location was fantastic, keeping us close to shopping as well as the theaters and sites, and in an area where I was comfortable with us walking to and from the hotel. The complimentary breakfast saved us time in the mornings and provided a good start to our busy days, and the petite room was a perfect size for the 2 of us. As I told one of the housekeeping staff - I think it was the cleanest hotel I had ever been in, and I am definitely picky! All the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay there again the next time I visit the city. Truly a wonderful experience. THANK YOU MANSFIELD!
