Stayed here while visiting our son who is stationed at Pensacola with the Navy. We were greeted warmly by everyone from the minute we walked through the door. Our room was on the small side but we didn't go there to spend our time in the room, so it was OK. We loved the breakfast buffet. The cook, Shirley, was extremely personable and despite the continual requests for made-to-order entrees she seemed genuinely happy to see you and prepare your food any way you liked it. Is $* too much for a breakfast buffet? not here - the convenience, cleanliness, and adbundance of quality breakfast food is well worth it. Multiple lunch and dinner restaurants nearby: Flounders, Hemmingways, McGuire's, Carrabbas, Landrys to name just a few, as well as some great shops just across the street. We also liked the cookie tray that seemed to appear every evening in the lobby, additionally the ability to get starbucks coffee in the lobby was a nice touch. The workout room was Ok, but again, we did not go there for the sole purpose of exercising, we'll survive a few days without it. We simply went there to visit with my son, eat great food, and stay in a clean upscale Hotel. The Hilton offered us a perfect venue to do all that. We will definitely be staying there again
overrated!

we had stayed most of the week at the holiday inn express down the way. LOVED THE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS!!! we left to go to destin and ended up back at pensacola beach. no rooms were available at the holiday inn so we ended up staying at the hilton. the lobby was very nice and the layout was nice. however the gift shop was VERY expensive. $2.00 for a small bag of chips. they had a nice breakfast buffet but it was a little pricey for what they had. 14.99 for adult and 6.95 for kids. the pool was GREAT for the kids. it was quite crowded at that end of the beach. i did like that they had a little tiki bar poolside. the room was nice, however we had MOLD on the bathroom tub and ceiling. the staff was ok at best. waited on information from staff about local places of interest and never heard back from them. it was ok though, but won't stay there again. definately overrated!

Great location on Pensacola beach. Freda, of the front desk was especially helpful in getting us checked in, oriented to where all of the ammenities were, etc. Hotel's Sushi bar - "Cajun-Asian" restaurant was good. Within walking distance of the hotel are THE DOCK, SIDELINES, EXON, and CRABS restaurants for those whom do not want oriential food. Good breakfast buffet with waffle maker, fresh fruit, smoked salmon, etc. It was too cold in December to use the swimming pool, although it was open. The hotel carry out snack bar was expensive ($6.50 for a so-so submarine sandwich, and $2.00 for a small bag of potato chips)
Wow! Queen for the week~!

This hotel was absolutely fabulous...from the check in, to the valets, to the servers, to the A+++++++ concierge, D R....she even arranged a private fireworks showing for us on the beach...an hour long!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a gal! We are relocating to the area and are pleased to say the Hilton and its staff treated us with the utmost of respect, dignity and opulence! We have lived all over the world from Europe to Southwest Asia to Malta..the service at Hilton P'cola Beach was outstanding and mirrored the best in the world!!! Thank You!!!!
Regards,
Trish n Lee Fordyce

This trip was the first time my 8 and 10 yr old had ever seen a beach, and i couldnt have picked a better place. This hotel was wonderful, the beach was so pretty and clean. We were there during the week and it was not really crowded, i do however understand from my sister in the Navy that its a hot spot on the weekends for those looking for a good time. I would love to go back and plan to as soon as possiable. The beds were every comfy and i slept better then i have in weeks at home. I would however like it if the hotel would provide loungers for the beach. There are some there but you have to rent them for * bucks an hour or $* a day which i find a little much just to sit on a lounge chair. However, i have no complaints and will be going back ASAP.
