Dirty, Tattered and uncomfortable.

I booked this room and barely slept because it was disgusting. There were stains all over the carpet, the wallpaper was pealing from the walls, the in-room coffee pot was broken, and the bathroom tile was dirty. When I complained to the front desk, they apologized, but only notated that the coffee pot was broken. I took a shower and the water fluctuated hot to cold throughout. The electric seemed as though it had not been updated and it was difficult for my friend and I to find outlets to plug in our cells and computers to charge. Everything in the room was outdated and seemed dirty. The ONLY redeeming quality of this hotel was that the bedsheets and pillowcases appeared clean and did not have spots... unlike the rest of the room. I will not stay again and it has made me question whether I will stay in an Quality Inn again.
Discustingly Dirty

At this price we expected a decent hotel. We had a large group and many rooms. All rooms had stained and filthy carpets, many that looked like they had not been vacuumed for a month. Bathrooms were dirty and many smelled like amonia. Some rooms had been painted with paint splatters everywhere on counters, carpet, floor and bedspread. There are other decent hotels in the Yakima area. This certainly is NOT one of them.
Choose only non-smoking rooms

This hotel was ok for a quick, last minute room but I would choose another hotel in the future. Also only get a non-smoking room. The room we were assigned had previously been a smoking room that the scent lingered even though the smell of fresh paint and glue for the new borders were overwhelming. We also had to wait for help at check-in as the clerk was out walking the premises instead of taking care of the four other customers waiting with us for check-in. Our room was clean and the bed was the most comfortable hotel/motel bed ever. The pool was small but not over crowded. The location was great, easy on off Hwy 82 and across from the mall and lots of restaurants. The biggest complaint was just walking to the ice machine it reeked of cigarette smoke, the curtains of these rooms you pasted were grunging brown whereas they should have been white.

pro - I loved the location...right next to Valley mall, bunch of restaurants within walking distance. They also give you free appetizers at Outback & Sea Galley's. good value if you add all that up...
con - I wish they served breakfast past 10am everyday, it's very good
