The hotel was new and in great condition. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. The only problem was with the pool lighting; the pool was beautiful with lovely landscaping with nice exterior lighting, however, the in-pool light was not working. I mentioned this to the staff and they said the manager was working on resovling the problem.
Would not go back

I visit Austin all the time (monthly) and am always looking for a decent hotel, on the less expensive side. This one was a good price. Check in was fine. I got there late, and was woken by house keeping knocking on the door at 8 am. I explained I was still sleeping. We hung out till 10, then went out for a while. Got back at 2, and the room was not made. Went back out, and came back at 5. Room not made. Pool looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. The hot tub was a strange greenish color looking at it from my room above it. Breakfast was fine. TV was static on most channels. Bathroom door had been broken in the past and not fixed correctly- the lock did not work.
Sheets were thin and poorly washed (I think just bleached). Bed was okay, but not exactly a dream bed.
Yes, I could have complained about the TV, but why? So I can be inconvenienced for a while while they fix it or move me to another room? Where they going to vacuum the pool for me?
Overall, this is a "get what ya pay for place". Price is good, but don't expect much for it.

One of the very few hotels I am very pleased with. No room for complaint. Everything was in order.

We were exhausted after a long day of travel and conference. All personnel were extremely helpful, and the surroundings were lovely.

The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. Big bathroom too. A lot of the door frames in the hall looked like they had water or termite damage. Location was pretty convenient to most things, but definitely NOT central. Fire alarm went off twice on second night at 4 am and 7 am due to a glitch. Would stay here again despite that.
