Description: I stayed in this hotel for a week when I first moved to NYC. (Note: If my company hadn't paid for it, I would not have!) It's not as big as the Marriot Marquis or Hilton, but that's why I like it so much. This place is full of French luxury and elegance. The rooms are elegantly designed and decorated, it will give your New York experience a surprisingly serene side. The hotel is farther away from the madness of Times square- yet it is just a block or two away from Carnegie Hall. The atrium is a superb place to sit and enjoy a drink. Norma's, the resturaunt downstairs, has a great breakfast. And Seppi's is a classic French Bistro with superb French dining.
