family reunion

Super 8 was a nice motel that meet my family's basic needs on our recent trip to a family reunion. the room was clean and comfortable. amazingly the air conditioner unit did not aggrevate my allergies, which was a first. the staff was friendly and helpful. the WIFI was a great asset, but be warned it is unsecured. my children's requirement was for the motel had a pool. it was a nice clean pool. was very pet friendly. the pet owners had some very nice animals. they were quiet and well behaved. the cleaning staff was very efficient. i would use this motel the next time i need to go to Knoxville, TN.

quite happy with this motel, it was convient, right off I-40. close to Turkey Creek Shopping Center. plenty of resturants in the area. room was clean. had the necessities... bed and a bath. we didn't plan to spend our whole trip in the motel. the pool was well maintained and my children took advantage of it whenever possible. staff was informational and helpful. cleaning staff did a wonderful job. grateful they had WIFI available since i left all my maps and information at home. it is unsecured. they do have a computer available in the lobby for guest use. didn't take advantage of the contintal breakfast...since there was a Cracker Barrel just on the other side of the I-40 bridge. building seemed well maintained and gave the impression that they are constantly making improvements. dogs were welcomed, and there is adquate ground for potty visits... would use this hotel on my next trip. the price was right for what i needed. i highly recommend this motel.

Cheap rate. Breakfast could be better. No indoor pool. Really good location

We were finishing a three week road trip on the way back to Ormand Beach Florida and booked it on the internet while in Indianapolis. This place is just what the smiley faces say it is. It's very reasonably priced and right of the exit. It also has coffee and fridge in the room, continental breakfast and get this FREE WIRELESS INTERNET in your room. Most hotels had a * day charge. The hotel is older but has been updated. The only negative was the soundproofing wasn't too good as the guys next door were watching a baseball game but when it was over at about 10:30 everything was quiet. We'd definitely stay there again.

Having traveled quite a bit, I was wary of a hotel in this price range; however, I was pleasantly surprised with this establishment! All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and my room was in outstanding condition! Not only was my non-smoking room free of any smoke odor, but also smelled lovely. Everything was immaculately clean and tidy; the room almost looked brand new! The king sized bed was incredibly comfortable and I had plenty of pillows and blankets. The room contained a coffee pot (complete with coffee and condiments), a microwave, a mini-fridge, and a full-sized iron and ironing board. There was also a nice-sized television with cable and HBO. Everything was in great condition and good working order.
Perhaps the best surprise of all, however, was that I had booked my room at a $50 rate and actually received a $37.50 rate upon checkout!
Again, I have traveled a lot and stayed in many hotels. In my experience, the "bargain" establishments are hit or miss (and mostly miss) -- but this Super 8 is definitely a HIT!
