Great Hotel

Our stay was wonderful. The room was very quiet with hardly any outside noise. Bed was great. The bathroom was small, but not a problem. Our bedroom was small, but we had all the room we needed to be comfortable. We used the luggage valet for our big suitcase and put our other case on the floor under the valet to conserve space. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They had a complementary breakfast until 10:30 in the AM, with a large variety of breakfast foods. Oatmeal, bagels/crm cheese you could toast, fresh fruit, yogurt, 3 kinds of cold cereal with skim or 2% milk, and they changed out 2 hot dishes every day as well. This was our 4th time to NYC, and by far exceeded my expectations. I will never stay anywhere else unless I have to.

Fantastic Hampton Inn

We went up for my cousin's birthday. She had a friend recommend this Hampton. The staff was so thorough and helpful. The hotel is immaculate. The lobby is small but the service is big. The view is only of other buildings, not like a Times Square hotel. But with the service and perks it was well worth it. Free luggage holding, complimentary breakfast that was well above continental! Convenient location. It may not be in the middle of everything like one of the Times Square hotels but from what I have heard they offer a lot more than those other hotels that are much more expensive! Excellent pick. I highly recommend this spot.

Excellent place to stay. 5 of us stayed in a room with 2 queen beds..lots of room ! staff were very friendly and helpful. The whole hotel was very clean and the location was wonderful. Close enough to all NYC has to offer but just off 6th avenue so you don't hear the New York drivers incesently honking their horns ! Would recommend to anyone and we plan to return to this hotel very soon.

I loved this Hotel. It was so comfortable and cozy. The bed was awesome I almost missed my flight back home because of it. It was in a perfect spot. The breakfast came in handy in the morning and gave you a chance to mingle. I will definetly return to NY and stay here no doubt. It was all worth my trip and staying here was a pleasure.

Basic, but comfortable.

I always seem to enjoy Hampton Inns when I get to stay with them. Their overall look is very nice and gives you the impression you're staying somewhere a little bit more exclusive than a basic chain. I stayed in a smoking/ handicap accessible room-- the only real difference was that instead of a traditional shower/tub combo, I had a walk-in stall. While this was a little unconventional, it was fine-- actually making the bathroom seem a lot larger than it likely was. Also- I am a smoker who generally doesn't get a smoking room because they typically REEK of decades' old smoke. Hampton Inns without fail never seem to have this issue...The beds and linens are very nice-- feather and polyfill pillows to suit everyone, an extra blankets stowed away just in case. The interiors were fine as well-- wall-mounted TVs (a standard in NYC hotels it seems), a nice sized desk to work and a small armoire for your things. It's also located within walking distance of lots of NYC sights so it's a good place to stay if you're trying to spend a weekend being a tourist.
