A wonderful hotel

We really liked this hotel because it is out of the city and quiet. The staff was really friendly even when our kids got a little unruly in the lobby. The rooms were bigger than most hotel rooms and they had an awesome exercise room. We were there to ivisit family but we also went to the Wild Animal Park. It was only a short, pleasant drive and we bought our tickets at the hotel. We will return here. It is such a nice place - we felt at home away from home!
Good value, bad service.

I was going on a business trip to San Diego and found a great price on this hotel on their web site. The pictures looked nice as well. My original stay was check-in on Saturday and check-out on Friday. Come Thursday night, I left a message with the person working at the front desk that I would be needing the room another week. She left a note for the person working the following day to call me -- Never received a call that day. When I got back to the hotel, I went to the front desk and were only able to book me until Tuesday. However, she said they get cancellations all the time and I would be the first in line. Even though I was booked until Tuesday, she said even if I can't keep the same type of room, they would upgrade me [seeing that I was staying there for 13 days]. However, I was supposed to get a call to let me know what was going on. On the morning of the 11th day, I saw a folio slipped under my door. I figured that they weren't able to give me my same room, would upgrade me to the next room, and I should pack up and move rooms before heading to the customer site. Calling the front desk the lady said they would move my belongings as long as I packed them up and I can pick up the room key later. Long story short after I get back they retracted and wouldn't give me that rate but wanted to charge a much higher rate that I know wouldn't be approved for expenses. I demanded my belongings and left to another hotel for the remainder of the week. That's the last time I stay there!

Stayed for two nights, satff were very helpful. Room was clean. The king bed was comfortable, but the sofabed was extermely uncomfortable. So if you need two beds, book the two beds room option.

We recently stayed for several days due to the fires. The staff was so accommodating and even though they were also dealing with the stress of the fires they were incredibly concerned and outgoing. They seemed willing to try to do anything to help s out. I was truly amazed. We are so grateful that they were open. They made a harrowing experience managebale and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel!!!

My family and I stayed in this hotel during the fire in San Diego. The hotel is in Rancho Bernardo where most corporate offices are located. The hotel is in perfect location beause it is very quiet and safe location. After a long day at Sea World and San Diego Zoo, we were able to have a good rest. My family and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel for many reasons: the breakfast buffet was wonderful. My children loved the hot oatmeal. My husband and I enjoyed the scrambled egg. We also had ham or bacon. The hotel was very busy during our stay but the staff were great. They helped us a lot with directions and our little requests despite the fact that they were busy with the families that were affected with the fire. During breakfast, I overheard a couple of families that were staying in this hotel and they were talking how great the service in this hotel. If I am going to be in San Diego again, I will choose this hotel in a heartbeat even though they are 25 minutes away from San Diego downtown. With the service and quality I received in this hotel, I will recommend this hotel to all my friends. Stay at the Radisson in Rancho Bernardo where you get more for what you pay for. Definitely worth it to stay at.
