Quote: While the setting by the Oakland Estuary was very nice and the grounds were well kept, there were obvious deferred maintenance issues with our room. The ceiling had been repaired but not repainted. The first morning we were there, water and solid... Read the full Marina Village Inn review

Brief stay but enjoyed the time I was there.

Quote: It's a nice little place on the bay. Nice neighborhood. It was a little difficult to find but none the less I made it. I just spent one night.

Not a Safe Place to Stay

  • February 16, 2011
Quote: The heat did not work and they did not have any more portable heaters. It appears there are many heaters broken. I did not have a ride to another hotel and had to stay and freeze. It was a terrible experience and I would never stay here again.

It's alright

Quote: I stayed at the Marina Village because I needed quick access to the Oakland area. It was cheaper than most hotels listed on Travelocity and seemed safer than others in the area (ie Oakland). It was, in fact, very easy to access Oakland/San... Read the full Marina Village Inn review

Quote: Mid 50's style. Clean enough, priced right. Nice location. Staff was very helpful, they even printed my boarding pass for my return flight for me.

Quote: A bit run down, but a quiet, adequate place to stay, away from the hustle of the city. It is right on the Alameda side of the estuary, with nice views of Oakland. Good value for the price.

Quote: I enjoy this place, though it is old and in need of renovation. It is in a lovely location, on the estuary, with views of Oakland. Is a safe neighborhood, easily accessible, but not noisy. A good value in the Bay Area.

Quote: I was suprise when I booked this hotel. For the price this is a very nice and quiet hotel. I booked a King/Bedroom. My patio looked right out on the Marina. Very beautiful! Away from traffic. It was kind of difficult to find, since I wasn't from... Read the full Marina Village Inn review

Generally an OKay experience but no hot water

  • October 19, 2009
Quote: The place is nice, clean, and conveniently located. The room is large enough, there is a free parking, and the breakfast is pretty good. The only problem we encountered was the lack of hot water in the morning. When we complained about it, the staff... Read the full Marina Village Inn review

A Real Treasure

Quote: My daughter and I stayed at this facility on January 16, 2009 because we were attending a volleyball tournament in Oakland the next day. My first concern was our safety since there had been demonstrations in Oakland earlier that week. We were... Read the full Marina Village Inn review
