Don't believe the reviews

We usually stay at a the Las Vegas Hilton when in Vegas, but because of a convention we stayed at Hooters for our last trip. After reading about bad carpeting, bed bugs, mold, bad sevice, no drink service, elevators breaking down...etc we were EXTREMELY nervous but decided to still check it out. I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in three different rooms (no fault of the hotel) and all were adequately clean and some with great views of the strip. They literally shampooed the hallway carpet every day we were there. The waitresses were great at keeping a drink in our hands, the elevators worked great, and the maids were all extremely nice. All in all a good experience and we would definately go back. I'm glad we didn't cancel upon reading all the bad reviews. It's definately worth the money and worth checking out. I'm glad we did. We now have an alternative place to stay on our trips to Vegas.

Great location, friendly staff, super for business or pleasure

As a business traveler, I look for a quiet room with internet access and services on site that make the stay convenient for me. The room was large, the bed very comfortable and I had no problem using their internet service. One of my favorite scents is cocoanut. The shampoo and conditioner are cocoanut scented going along with the beach theme of the guest rooms. Unlike so many hotels on the strip, the parking was very convenient and I used the parking structure throughout my stay. There were no long hikes to your car here. I dined at their cafe and Dan Marino's Restaurant and found the prices reasonable and the food, especially at Dan Marino's, was superb. Any trip to Las Vegas provides an opportunity for fun and this did not disappoint. The Casino has friendly dealers and a nice selection of slot machines. I was not able to use the pool but the area was appealing. Getting back to business, their meeting room, the Iowa Room, was a great location for the event I attended one of the days I was there and their staff very attentive to the needs of those of us at the function. I will certainly use Hooters again.

Wise Budget Decision for a last minute trip

Front desk was very friendly, Pool drink service was very nice, but the Towel personnel could use a friendly attitude adjustment, Also, the pool bar did not have the wine advertised, the waitress at the Lounge didn't know what a Reisling was, Room Service was very fast, Plenty of room around the pool area, but dirty too many cigarette butts everywhere and trash on the ground.

ALL GREAT!

Hotel best suited for drunk, smoking frat boys

Hooters is located off of the end of the strip, meaning that we had to sit in traffic for one hour to travel the half a mile to the middle of the strip. Requested non-smoking with a view of the strip, was first given smoking with view of a/c units, 2nd room later provided. Sheets in 2nd room were filthy, replacement sheets had holes. Carpeting was dirty. Bathroom door did not opperate properly unless body-slammed shut. Hotel dinning consisted of variations of hooters wings and burgers in every shop, Dan Marino's restaurant, and the Dam - serving a steak with more fat than I have ever had in any restaurant. Casino is small, and more smoke filled than other larger locations on the strip - few tables. After the filth, poor service, bad location, and venturing out to the strip and casinos we quickly made arrangements to move to a better hotel the next morning. You will waste money, time, and your experience staying here. Pay the slightly higher rate and stay at a hotel on the strip.
