We chose Hooters for our hotel due to its close location to the strip (a block away-right across the street from the MGM) and its price. We were not expecting much for a $*/night bugalow, but as soon as we checked in we received an upgrade to the tower rooms, at no extra costs. The front desk was very friendly and efficient.
We had a nice view of the pool. Only complaint about the room was the fact that the shower head was too low (I'm 5'6 and I just fit below it, but my boyfriend who is over 6ft had to bend down to wash his hair).
The 25cent wings at Dan Marino after midnight are a great deal. You have to order them in increments of 10.
The Hooters Reward Club card is basically pointless, even if you do rack up enough points for a reward, you only receive a hooters travel mug.
The casino is very small and there actually are not many Hooters girls working the tables as they had advertised. If your looking for hot dealers, go to a different casino.
Disappointed

We stayed at Hooter's when it was the San Remo Hotel and there is no comparison. The San Remo wins hands down! Our bathroom tub spigot leaked, the rub was chipped and had mildew and our sliding glass door was broken. The hotel was just run down and Hooter's has only had it 2 years. We will not stay there again.

Place is only good for resting, price is okay since it is next to the las vegas strip.
Pleasantly Surprised

The Hooters Hotel was our choice based on the low price. We did not expect a lot out of it. Because of this, we were pleasantly surprised by our stay. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. We were lucky enough to get a good view of the strip. It is an older hotel, so the ceiling in the lobby is lower than those in most newer hotels so it is a little more smoky but not intolerable. The casino is much smaller than the ones on the strip, but it has all the same stuff, just not so many of each. The strip is about a 5 minute walk. There are two resturants inside the hotel, Hooters, and Dan Marino's. Each were good to grab a bite. Marino's has a basic breakfast buffet for $10. I might spend a little extra to stay right in the heart of the strip next time, but I would stay here again if on a tight budget. It was definitely worth the money.
