Very poor hotel experience

We got to the hotel around 10 am after traveling more than 300 miles and the reception told us a room will be ready at 4 pm. But after a while we were given a smoking room instead of a non smoking as requested. Poor service and customer relation

Heated indoor pool?

We changed our reservation from a closer hotel to the Comfort Inn specifically because we wanted a pool/whirlpool. The description listed a heated indoor pool. When we arrived the girl at the front desk could barely speak English. She had a very hard time checking us in. The next morning we went down to use the pool and it was ice cold. There were no towels, so I guess luckily it was too cold to even get into. There was no whirlpool at all. We were very disappointed and wished we would have just kept the reservation for the closer hotel.
