very nice place... GREAT value for the price!

The second we saw the check-in desk, we were already very pleased with its appearance. Everything looked immaculate, and the people at the counter were exceptionally helpful and courteous. They made us feel very welcome!
They had originally planned for us to stay in the corner of the property, but the nice lady moved us closer towards the center where there would be less noise from the stairs, vending and ice machines. Room 307 (where we stayed) was clean upon entry, and it offered everything we could possibly need. The shower had sufficient pressure, the bed was comfortable, as was the room temperature. We were both very cozy inside the warm room despite the VERY cold nights/mornings.
Our only complaints were the heater/AC (it gets a little loud), the stain on the comforter and the occasional burst of hot/cold water while showering from other hotel guests showering.
We had a rental car, so everything was within very reasonable driving distance. There's a very popular BBQ restaurant (Big Bubba's) that all the locals frequent, and there are a myriad of other amenities within close walking distance.
Overall, we definitely plan on staying here again on our next trip down to Paso Robles.
