The Yankee Peddler Inn has no frills, but is a nice quaint place to stay and well-situated near Newport Harbor. The rooms are old but quiet and nice. The front desk staff was friendly and helped me with a couple items. The closet was missing hangers when I arrived but they were able to fix some. I also was able to get an iron to get the wrinkles out of my clothes. There's not a whole lot to this place. It is only 20 rooms and I was sleeping down the hall from the reservation desk. There's a upscale breakfast which I didn't experience but seemed nice. Also some rooms are very large ? my room had 2 queen beds.
All in all, this place isn't going to blow you away, but if you're looking to save some money relative to the even pricier options nearby, the Yankee Peddler Inn is a good pick.
