Great location! Security A+! Enjoyed it immensely!

This hotel is located right on the beach and connected to a great rooftop bar/restaurant (Coconut Joe's). There are some souvenier shops locatded across the street along with a Ben and Jerry's ice cream shop. Everything is within walking distance, including the beautiful beach. Security is top notch! During the day or at night, a policeman was within view at most times ensuring safety. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a quiet yet fun and romantic getaway! Can't wait to go back!

loved it

Great location on the beach. "Partial beach view" really does give you a nice beach view (with nice balcony). Comfy room. Nice outdoor pool. Good service. Great continental breakfast. Clean room. Great shower. Got a good rate for this level of quality. Good, cool restaurant right next door. Good layout with courtyard in the middle (so it's quieter). Parking no issue for us as it was off season (parked right in front). Elevator a bit slow/balky. THIS IS A REAL REVIEW! We liked this place a lot.

Worst Hotel Experience I've Ever Had

Traveler beware!! The information and pictures on the hotel website are very misleading. The hotel room I stayed in was dark, dreary and very dirty. The floors were sticky, there was hair everywhere, there were stains on the bedspreads, peeling paint...the list goes on. The walls were so thin that I was unable to sleep one entire night due to noisy guest partying in the open breezeway outside of my room. I had to call down to the front desk twice, but that didn't help. The front desk was unsympathetic upon check-out. Don't be deceived...never stay here.

The view from our oceanfront balcony was wonderful. Walking on the beach in February was still great and many people were enjoying it, especially at sunrise! Breakfast was fine. The refrigerator & microwave in our room were handy for lunch. Well worth the 20 minute drive from Charleston.

visit was great. Great room, great breakfast, good service, wonderful view from oceanfront room. Was a little pricey for off-season. Close access to Charleston
