The staff were very helpful and friendly. They gave me good advice on where to find a few things in town and how early to leave in order to beat rush hour when I returned to the airport. The room was clean and comfortable with a comfortable bed. The price was good. The hotel more than met my expectations and standards in these areas. The continental breakfast was really poor though, nothing but starches, no fruit or protein source at all. I knew it was close to the city and not far off the highway. I did not realize it was only about 30 feet off the interstate though and so it is fairly loud. Fortunately, the air conditioner could be cranked up loud enough to drown out most of the noise from the highway. The curtains are thick enough to get it good and dark in the room in spite of the various lights. I did not realize the doors to rooms were all on external walkways. My preference is internal hallways.

Impossible to find and get to. Room dirty. Carpet looks 20 years old.
Tried to save some $ but not worth it.

Overall, I was real impressed w/this hotel especially for the value. I was slightly disappointed when I changed rooms from upstairs to down. The bathroom was that fresh in rm 111, but overall I would definitely stay @this hotel again.
Great for the Money

The hotel was easy to locate and not far from the airport. Front desk clerk was very welcoming and there was no problem with a very late check in. Good value and served its purpose for the $$$ spent. Easy access to Hwy and located near a golf course (reason for trip). If you are about the pool, this would not be a good choice. Very small and located by the parking lot. Otherwise, very satisfactory. Suggest Jim's Diner up the road an exit for a great breakfast. Never made it to the one Day's Inn provided. Easily found downtown SA and preferred this location, as downtown has a lot of homeless people. Plan on spending $10 for parking. San Marcos Outlet Malls are the best and just 30 minutes up the highway.

The room was clean and very affordable. We will stay here again.
