Amazing Beds!

I must say that I was skeptical about the stay at the Comfort Inn, but it was truly a delight! The best part was the incredible and unexpected comfort of the bed! I slept like a log for the two nights that I stayed there and felt great the following day. If you need a good place to stay that's away from a lot of the crowds of OC, this is definitely a great hotel to choose, especially for the rate we paid.

Excellent Stay 100% also like the fact that Denny's was right there and I didn't have to leave to go get breakfast. Wonderful

I first booked this hotel, and then later read the negative reviews on this website. Needless to say, I was really concerned. I'm happy to report that my concern was not necessary, everything went just fine. The hotel was VERY clean, the elevator smelled nice, and all the staff were great. My bed was comfortable, the air conditioning worked great (a little too great at times!), and our room was nice. Not brand spanking new, but not old and worn either. My only disappointment at all was the whirlpool tub. In booking the room, we had paid extra to have a whirlpool tub, and indeed the room had one, but it was very small. I am barely 5 feet tall, and the tub was not long enough for me to relax in. My husband at 6 feet tall looked comical in it. The depth of the tub was ok, it was just not long enough. We have stayed at many hotels with whirlpool tubs and this one by far was the tiniest. Had I known in advance how tiny, I would not have paid extra for the "whirlpool tub suite". As far as the walk to the beach, I could see where that could be challenging with small children, but for adults it was fine. We ended up driving most of the time anyway, one of the joys of going to Ocean City in the off season and during the week is that is was practically empty. We had no problems parking anywhere.
I would recommend this hotel, and would stay there again!
very pleased

My husband & I stayed here at the end of August 2008, we found the rooms & bath to be very clean, no funky smells either ( we chose no smoking floor). There were coffee makers (yum luv coffee first thing in the AM) microwave and refrigerator, always a good way to save money having breakfast or lunch in your room. It was within walking distance to the beach, there was
a movie theatre right next door. You could also walk to the OC library & check your email.
I think this site gets confused with another Comfort Inn that is closer to the town center, but this one is way up the peninsula closer to Delaware. Calm, pleasant neighborhood too, maybe there is more activity in June & July & most of August, but we found it more relaxing to take time off after the local kids have gone back to school.
Nothing fancy at all

My wife & I along with our 11 month old son just returned, first we had the worst view in the world, there was nothing out our windows except for the air units on the roof top (room #200). WHen we checked in and also when checking out they had no luggage carts available and thats not because they were busy they just didn't have any.
I went to the gym and the remote was missing, machines were broke and they had no water or towels for the ones working out.
If your planning on going there just plan for nothing fancy. I stay at many hotels and this is the first review I wrote.
