We stayed here for one night on our way to Victoria. The location is great as the hotel is right on the beach. The rooms are basic but fine for us especially for one night. We liked that there was a sofa to sit on in the evening. The carpet seemed rather worn by the door. The room was comfortable. The coffee provided in the room was quite good. We did not eat at the hotel or use the fitness room. Our friends had a room on the second floor and their view was much better than ours. I would ask for a room on the second floor for that reason. Both of our rooms were close to the fitness room/hot tub area and there was noise from the equipment and the doors closing as people went in and out. It wasn't terrible but I'd ask for a room at least 3 doors down from those areas, if possible. After 10:30 PM, all was quiet. Overall, considering the area, I felt the hotel was a reasonable rate and wasn't disappointed.
