We chose this hotel because of its location and supposed value for the money. We went on a cruise last year out of Port Canaveral and had a good experience with the shuttle to and FROM the port. This was not the case at this hotel. The hotel was not prepared for the number of travelers needing transport to the cruise port and many people were not happy with the service and customer relations. We were fine with the initial transport to the cruise port, but when our ship returned to Miami at 7 am we were not greeted by the shuttle as anticipated. We called the hotel and were told that a shuttle would NOT be by until they were bringing the ships next cruisers at 11:30am. That was not acceptable. We took a taxi for $22.00 to get back to our car at the hotel. SO, do I think that the value is there? No. This hotel provides poor customer service relations and poor shuttle to and from the cruise port!

Their ad says they provide transportation to and from the cruise port. they had no problem taking me to meet ym ship, but when I returned they refused to pick me up and I had to take a cab.

Watch out "prepaid" travelers!! Hotel will put you in another building across the street. Room was filthy and run down not to mention the dead cockroach and small reptile in our room. Immediately booked to another hotel for the last 4 days of our trip. They will NOT refund your money if you check-out early. Once you prepay online you have no recourse, therefore, the hotel has nothing to lose! Also tried to get extra towels and was told to track down the maid who was in our building. Terrible, terrible service!!!!

We flew from Miami International 2 days before our cruise, and needed somewhere to stay that was close to the cruise terminal. This hotel is perfect! It is an older building, but very clean. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. It is a short drive to several nice places to shop and eat. We utilized the free shuttle service to the cruise terminal, and arrived directly in front of our ship.

We were disappointed with our room. We were not roomed in the main building but in another building across the street. It was less attractive and needed repairs. There was a nice restaurant and the pool was pleasant. The staff was friendly and helpful. OK for the price.
