After working all day and driving 3 hours I was greeted by a young woman who never smiled, never said hello, was obviously preoccupied and never said thank you. Her demeanor was definitely not that of a service employee. I don't remember if she even looked at me. When I asked for the location of my room she seemed quite perturbed that I would even ask. I had stayed at this motel about 5 years ago and it was very pleasant. However, there are several other choices near by, and I would recommend choosing one of those.

I stopped off at the Country Hearth Inn on my way to Detroit. It is actually a chain of hotels which I have never heard of before, but after my stay will definitely look for in all my travels. I was pleasantly surprised by the pleasantness of any staff member I came across, as well as the expansive breakfast. The location was also very convenient, as I was tired from driving all day, but could just walk to the mall right behind my room, as well as to a good restaurant for dinner. I travel a lot and stay in many hotels, and this is one of the good ones.
